Construction

Lundi 14 juillet 2008
In a wolrd of "simulated everything" where fake watches (replicas for those who do like it better) and faux originals rules, the construction industry makes no exception. For the same raison of afordable cost, house siding and roofing could look the same as the genuine materials they are supposed to simulate.

It is impressive to see how cheaper it can be and how realistic it look. Quality siding and roofing shingles made of vinyl or even better, made of polymer, can be found almost everywhere in stores like Home Hardware and Home Depot.

cedar siding : made of polymer too

window shutters : made of vinyl or polymer

All these simulated materials made of polymer are high quality products that match the highest standards of resistance. So I think we should not hesitate to go with it for our home exterior siding and roofing needs.

Today I want to introduce you to the Track-O. I don't really know how to name the engine but it is used for heavy handling. I saw it once a year ago and I got into their site yesterday. I was looking for moving services because I am like many peoples these days  planning to move  next weekend.  Anyway, the Track-O  is a kind of  remotely  controled  motorized hand truck. It seems pretty useful for heavy material handling but not that much for the me actually. It is a little to big for my needs. I'm just moving after all! I don't have safety box,  arcade games or  heavy water thank  to move.

I thought it was an ingenius material handling and lift equipment that deserved to be promote.

Well, as usual... here some links for the curious of you:

On another topic, yes I know I go from fitness to construction but be use to it cause a blog is a blog and only the blog owner decide the way its blog is.

So, I'm going to talk about concrete foundation and practical tools made to make it. Effective equipment when building house foundation is the key to success apparently. For basement construction, concrete foundation and other concrete constructions, you will need formwork accessories like formwork plywood, formwork ties and aluminum scaffolding. May be not scaffolding for basement but for walls it will be usefull.

Browsing the web for "how to make a concrete basement", I have found many good websites related to concrete and construction. Since that search, I have had time and friends to build my basement. A good job I tell you!

Here some good sites to get information and buy stuff to build anything made of concrete

Wikipedia.org // Info about Reinforced concrete
Reinforced concrete is concrete in which reinforcement bars ("rebars") or fibers have been incorporated to strengthen a material that would otherwise be brittle. In industrialised countries, nearly all concrete used in construction is reinforced concrete.
